Japanese Sudachi Lime

Sudachi is a small green rounded Citrus originally from Japan. This is genetically in part a Yuzu, other famous Japanese Citrus, and a Tachibana Orange. In Japan is grown mostly in the prefecture of Tokoshima where 98% of the Sudachi fruit is grown. It's considered second only to the Yuzu and it's been used for centuries for the exquisite juice. The fruit is generally harvested while still green, but can change the colour to a yellow-orange when fully mature. This tree is definitely one of the rarest Citrus to find in Australia, or generally in the world, as still not well known outside of Japan. Our Sudachi are established grafted trees and guaranteed to have disease-free rootstock.
