Strawberry Gum is a tree from the Eucalyptus family and grows mainly around New South Wales wildly. Nowadays, Strawberry Gum trees are cultivated all over Australia for the precious and highly scented leaves. The leaves of this tree have a particular candy strawberry like, hence the name, with a distinguished Eucalyptus aroma on the back. These trees generally will grow up to 20m in New South Wales, but only around 5-8m in cooler regions like Victoria. This tree can be grown in both really large pots or even better in the ground. Strawberry Gum trees prefer full sun to partial shade conditions, well draining soil and tend to be a bit sensitive on watering. Being a Eucalyptus tree they tend to need more water than your average native tree or plant, but careful not to drawn the tree with too much water.
This tree comes currently in a 200mm pot and ready to be transplanted in a larger pot or ground. If the tree exceeds in height our tallest box (1m high) we might have to prune down the tree.
