Atherton Raspberry is one of the Native raspberry plants to Australia and New Papua Guinea. This type of raspberries can grow in our warmer climates compare to the more common European ones which are more for the cooler climate. This plant produces larger size berries with a milder flavour compared to traditional ones. Atherton Raspberry can be quite aggressive in the way they grow and spread so more ideally to be planted by themselves in larger pots or garden beds. Planting in the ground is not an issue if you can control it by creating a border for the roots and plant, so they don't spread to wild in your garden. The berries will usually be ready to harvest in Summer and Autumn with some exceptions through out the whole year in certain regions.
Our Atherton Raspberries come in 180mm pots and are ready to be transplanted in either larger pots or in the ground.
