Gumbi Gumbi also known as Native Apricot is Native plant the grows in the inland areas from Western Australia to Coastal Queensland. This tree grows in different soil conditions, prefer full sun and is both drought and frost tolerant. Despite the name Native Apricot the fruit itself is not considered as food as the leaves are the actual part of the plant that is harvested. This is mainly harvested for Bush-Medicine purposes to help cure symptoms of cough, cold and eczema. The leaves can be harvested and used to make a powerful tea that is highly aromatic.
Our Gumbi Gumbi comes in 200mm pots and ready to be transplanted in either a larger pot or in the ground.
